This policy explains how DuoBrief uses automated and generative features. It should be read with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
On-device processing
DuoBrief is designed to use supported Apple technologies on the user's device for transcription, summaries, decisions, suggested action items, and follow-up drafts. DuoBrief does not intentionally send meeting content to a third-party cloud AI model for generation.
Availability and behavior depend on the iPhone model, operating-system version, selected language, downloaded language resources, permissions, and Apple Intelligence availability.
Human review is required
Generated text can be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. DuoBrief presents summaries, action suggestions, and follow-up drafts for review. Users must verify names, dates, decisions, commitments, and sensitive details before relying on or sharing generated material. DuoBrief does not automatically send follow-up messages or create commitments on a user's behalf.
Your content
You retain ownership of your meeting content. DuoBrief does not use meeting notes, transcripts, summaries, attendee information, or drafts to train advertising systems or third-party generative models. Limited, consent-based analytics and privacy-filtered diagnostics must not include meeting content.
Prohibited uses
Do not use DuoBrief to mislead, impersonate, discriminate, violate privacy, create unlawful surveillance, or make high-impact legal, medical, financial, employment, housing, insurance, or eligibility decisions without qualified human review and any legally required process.
Recording and consent
Users are responsible for providing notice and obtaining consent before recording or transcribing a meeting whenever required by law, contract, workplace policy, or professional obligation. DuoBrief does not determine whether consent is legally sufficient in a particular location.
