This policy explains the browser storage and measurement technologies used on the public DuoBrief website. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

Essential storage

DuoBrief uses essential browser storage where it is needed to provide a feature you request, remember your privacy choice, protect account access, or keep the signed-in web companion working. Essential storage cannot be disabled through the public-site analytics control because the requested feature may not work without it.

Aggregate hosting analytics

Vercel provides aggregate website analytics and operational measurements used to understand site reliability and broad traffic patterns. These measurements do not receive DuoBrief meeting notes or app content.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you select Allow analytics. It may measure public-page views, pricing-section views, App Store and web-sign-in interest, business and support form starts, language choices, device and browser characteristics, referring pages, approximate region, and campaign source, medium, and name. DuoBrief keeps a limited first-party acquisition record in browser storage after consent so those actions can be attributed to the visit that introduced DuoBrief. It does not store advertising click identifiers or form contents in that record. DuoBrief disables advertising storage, Google signals, and advertising-personalization signals. Google Analytics is not loaded on the signed-in web companion or organization-administration routes and is not intentionally sent meeting titles, notes, transcripts, attendees, summaries, drafts, account identifiers, or support-request content. Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services.

Your choice

You can allow or decline optional analytics without losing access to the public website. Use the Privacy choices control at the bottom of a public page to change your selection. Declining prevents the Google Analytics tag from loading on that browser and removes the limited acquisition record from local browser storage. Clearing browser storage may reset your selection.
