DuoBrief Privacy Choices

This page brings together the controls available for the DuoBrief iPhone app, web companion, and public website. Using a privacy choice does not affect access to core features unless the related permission or data is needed to provide a feature you request.

Website analytics

Google Analytics is optional on the public DuoBrief website. Use the Privacy choices control at the bottom of this page to allow or decline analytics or to change a previous selection. Declining prevents the Google Analytics tag from loading on this browser and removes DuoBrief's limited first-party acquisition record.

Essential browser storage used for security, authentication, or a feature you request cannot be disabled through the analytics control. Read the Cookie Policy for details.

iPhone app analytics and diagnostics

Optional product analytics can be changed inside the DuoBrief app. Open DuoBrief Settings, find the privacy or analytics control, and turn product analytics off or on. Turning analytics off does not delete your meetings or prevent you from using core meeting features.

DuoBrief does not intentionally send meeting titles, notes, transcripts, attendees, locations, summaries, drafts, email addresses, authentication secrets, or payment-card information to product analytics.

iPhone permissions

You can review or revoke permissions for Calendar, Microphone, Speech Recognition, Location, and Reminders at any time in the iPhone Settings app. Some requested features will stop working when their required permission is disabled. DuoBrief does not track location in the background.

Account and data choices

• Delete individual meetings: remove them from DuoBrief on your iPhone or in the signed-in web companion.
• Delete your DuoBrief account: start account deletion in DuoBrief Settings or the web companion.
• Cancel an Apple subscription: manage subscriptions through your Apple Account. Deleting a DuoBrief account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Access, correction, portability, objection, or deletion requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, portability of, restriction of, objection to, or deletion of personal information. Submit a request through DuoBrief Support and select Privacy & data request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

DuoBrief does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. DuoBrief does not use meeting content for advertising. If you believe a privacy choice required where you live is not addressed on this page, submit a privacy request through DuoBrief Support.
